Greeters

The Wellington Cathedral of St Paul has as its vision to be a place of prayerful encounter for those who choose to visit. Greeters duty entails sitting at the welcome desk at the entrance of the cathedral for a two hour shift, particularly on Saturday, though there is always a need for greeters during the week.

Greeters welcome visitors, direct them to the appropriate brochures and may give them a quick tour of the Cathedral. Greeters record how many visitors that have come through during their shift.

It is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the history of the Cathedral and meet interesting people visiting the capital.
