Reverend Andrea Lukin

Having been involved in various ministry roles over the past 35 years, Andrea now brings that experience in to her role at SUNZ (Scripture Union New Zealand) as Children and Families Consultant for the Wellington Region.

 She is passionate about training, resourcing, supporting and encouraging ministry leaders and helping them with the tools they need for the work they do out in their communities.  Also to provide opportunities for safe environments through camp settings for tamariki to thrive and learn all that God has to show them through bible engagement.

Andrea enjoys all things creative, and you would often find her upcycling and painting old school desks and chairs and making earrings from inner tube tyres, when I have the time.  Most times of late, she just surrounds herself with all things LEGO!!

 Andrea is married to Lance and they have four adult children and one grandson, who they totally adore!!

Please pray for Andrea as she supports recourses and trains people involved in children’s ministry.

• Annual WAY2go children’s ministry training events. Andrea heads up the Wellington training event and leads at other WAY2GO conferences.

• SUPAkidz camp in Foxton, January 2025. Pray for funding, camper registrations, engaging activities, meaningful Bible interactions, and faith-flled conversations among leaders and campers. May the Holy spirit foster a sense of whanau at the camp.

• New Creative Edge camp for intermediate age in October at Wainuiomata. It focuses on creative arts and creation care. We hope this new camp will help the flow-through of campers from SUPAkidz to SUNZ youth camps.
