Internal Organ
Wednesday 7 September, 5.30pm
Immerse yourself deep inside the heart of Wellington Cathedral and journey through the internal workings of the organ in an intimate audio installation in the Lady Chapel.
The audience will be invited to wander around the cathedral to experience the organ from various spaces, as well as listening to the audio installation in the Lady Chapel. Seven microphones placed inside the organ chamber will feed seven speakers in the chapel, giving the impression that you are listening from inside the instrument itself.
Michael Stewart (organ)
Presented in conjunction with the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, Hadfield Audio and the Wellington Organists Association.
