Sunday 3rd December

Darkness to Light: 8.30pm

Advent Carol Service

A service by candlelight with the Cathedral Choir – superb choral music, congregational hymns and readings.

Sunday 17th December

Nine Lessons and Carols: 5pm

A traditional Christmas Carol Service of Lessons read by members of the Cathedral congregation and Carols sung by our Cathedral Choir and Choristers. There are also well-known Congregational Hymns.

Christmas Eve, 24th December

Christingle Service 4.30pm

Aimed at children, you’ll need to get here early. A favourite with grandparents. Christmas story in pageant, carols. Cathedral Choristers singing.

Midnight Mass: 11pm

Beginning with 30 minutes of community carol singing from 10.30pm, the Service proper starts at 11pm. Full Choral Festival Eucharist (Mozart's Credo Mass sung by the Cathedral Choir with Vector Wellington Orchestra).

This is a very popular service, so you are advised to be there early to get a seat.

Christmas Day

Eucharist: 7.45am

An early morning Christmas Day service with hymns.

Choral Eucharist: 10.00am

A formal but family friendly Eucharist – superb choral singing and plenty of traditional Christmas Carols to sing.

Children are invited to gather around the crib for the blessing.
